BMW Motorrad Motorsport
The MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series has been held since 1976 by the American Motorcyclist Association as part of the AMA Pro Racing Series. The first ever Champion was American Reg Pridmore on a BMW R 90 S. Several well-known greats from the American motorbike racing scene, notably the triple 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey, founded the initiative Moto America. This association’s goal is to steer the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series back onto the road to success and to nurture talented young Americans.
The AMA is a part of the BMW Motorrad Race Trophy since 2015.
