BMW Motorrad Motorsport at the 2016 BMW

Motorrad Days They have been a must-attend event for thousands of motorbike enthusiasts from around the world for years: The BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This year, the biggest BMW Motorrad Festival in the world will take place from 1st to 3rd July. And it goes without saying that BMW Motorrad Motorsport will be there. Racing fans can get a taste of racing action up close here.

In the exhibition space in the BMW Motorrad Motorsport Truck, visitors to the BMW Motorrad Days can experience numerous BMW S 1000 RR racing machines up close and personal and have lively horsepower conversations with successful riders from the BMW Motorrad Motorsport community.

For example, with road racer Ian Hutchinson from the Tyco BMW team, who recently celebrated one victory and two second places at the legendary Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. The current front-runner in the Superbike IDM / Internationalen Deutschen Motorradmeisterschaft (international German motorcycle championship), Mathieu Gines, will also be there. And racing legend Rico Penzkofer will attend the BMW Motorrad Days with his team Penz13.com. And from the USA, speed queen Valerie Thompson will drop in once again this year.

And, of course, they will bring their racing bikes with them. Visitors to Garmisch-Partenkirchen can examine the following race bikes up close and personal: Hutchinson’s RR from the Isle of Man, the BMW S 1000 RR from the MOTUL FIM World Superbike Championship, Gines’ machine from the Superbike IDM and the FIM Endurance World Championship, the number 13 RR of the Penz13.com – BMW Motorrad team and the number 48 of the team Voelpker NRT48 by Schubert Motors.
