Four racing teams from four different racing championships offer this unique opportunity. In the team's hospitality, you have the chance to speak to experts from the racing scene. The riders and team personnel gather here for the ‘Meet and Greet’. Direct access to the team pit garages gives you the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of motorbike racing. Afterwards, enjoy the exciting race action from the grandstands or directly in the paddock.
If nothing else, the FIM World Superbike Championship (WSBK) guarantees exciting race action. 2012 was the most successful season to date for BMW Motorrad with the runner-up title in the manufacturers’ championship.
In 2015, all the signs point towards the BMW Motorrad Italia SBK team going on the attack. The team was still racing in the SBK Evo class in 2014. With the WSBK regulations now unified, exciting races are guaranteed.
It's not just about the fastest lap time but also consistency and reliability, and paired with fast pit stops it's all a part of the equation.
Be in the thick of the action, when BMW Motorrad France Team Penz13.com goes chasing titles in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC). With the team around former racer Rico Penzkofer and his current riders, IDM heroes like Markus Reiterberger and Bastien Mackels, BMW Motorrad has a serious challenge.
With seven race wins and two pole positions to his name, Ryuichi Kiyonari from the Buildbase BMW team took second place in the overall standings in 2014. This year, ‘Kiyo’ aims to win his fourth BSB title after claiming the 2006, 2007 and 2010 titles. The newly formed team, Tyco BMW, is also one of the hot title contenders along with its riders Michael Laverty and Tommy Bridewell. Be at track side with team Tyco BMW.
Thrilling races are also on the agenda again in the International German Championship (IDM) in 2015. Since its market launch, the BMW S 1000 RR has celebrated numerous victories in this championship. In the IDM in 2012 and 2013, BMW won the manufacturers’ championship and the drivers’ championship with Erwan Nigon and Markus Reiterberger.
After taking 3rd place in the IDM in 2014, and outright victory in the inaugural BMW Motorrad Race Trophy, the target for BMW S 1000 RR rider Markus Reiterberger is clear: to return to the top of the table. Other successful talents on BMW machinery like Bastien Mackels, the Superstock Champion 2013, and Lucy Glöckner, who won the runner-up title in the Superstock class, guarantee exciting wheel-to-wheel race action. As a guest of the Van Zon-Remeha-BMW Team – the championship winning team in 2013 – you are really close to the action.
